Reds of Summer is a post-plague survivalist RH romance. Our FMC Maggie isolates herself after her friends, family and everyone she knows dies of a mutated form of the varicella virus. This is the plan when  two kids and James, one of her love interests, find her. Friendly faces, love and new skills are her new way of life.

They aren't alone in the world.Survivors are few and some are as deadly as the virus itself.

It will take opening up her heart to accept the help of other survivors, accepting that she can't make it through this incredible journey alone. Surviving is more than just living, it's learning to love anew and make a life worth celebrating.

The first in a three part series, the story centers on Maggie, those drawn to her, and the trials they are put through. The questions are many as she does her best to survive this hostile world.  Who is after her? Why are some hunted and others not? Who is friend and who is foe?
